Nephthys' Sacred Phoenix rises from the ashes and is reborn as a Ritual Monster! Both the Phoenix and its companion, Nephthys' Butler, are making the leap into the new era. Both have a Ritual Monster based on the original card, but also their own roster of Level 2 Companions that let you destroy your cards to use their effects. Destroy another card in this theme, and the second ability activates during your next Standby Phase, granting you two great effects for the price of one. The Link Monsters in this theme are based on summoning multiple Ritual Monsters. One gathers the parts you need for the Ritual Summon or revives fallen monsters, while the other becomes more powerful depending on how many Ritual Monsters you used to summon it.
Tiny pranksters up to no good! They may look sweet and innocent, but the three main effect monsters of this strategy can combine six different paths to chaos. This strategy utilizes Fusion Monsters with Link Monsters, and the monsters in the Deck give you more materials when used for Fusion and Link Summons. Each of the Fusion and Link Monsters can be Tributed for a special effect. The strongest of these can be Tributed to replicate the effects of Raigeki or Harpy's Whisker.
Finally, Zombie monsters based on Japanese legends manifest as a new Synchro Summoning strategy. The Deck utilizes the "Synchro Climb" strategy with a twist: Once you "climb" to the highest Synchro Monster, you are able to Summon the previous Synchro Monster and use its effects once the current monster is destroyed. This strategy can bring out all Synchro Monsters in one turn thanks to Tuners that Special Summon themselves from the Graveyard. The Link Monster this strategy reduces the ATK and DEF of the monsters it shows every time your opponent destroys a Synchro Monster - unbelievable.
